Not much is happening in my little world of sugar since easter. I have decided to concentrate on my beautiful garden this summer. It has been a bit neglected the last few years and that´s a shame. I have lots of projects going on, and if you like gardening feel free to pop by:
I´ll leave you for the summer with a repetition of my favorite summer-drink - do try to make this, it´s incredibly delicious!
Get the recipe in danish here, at Camilla´sIn english:
500g sliced rhubarb stalks - 250g sugar (I use 200g) and 13 dl of water (I use 15 dl).
Heat up slowly and quickly remove the pot when it hits boiling temperature or else the lemonade looses it´s divine colour. Sift and let cool down. Rinse the lemonade-bottles with alcohol before filling them.
The remaining rhubarb-pulp can be used in tarts, fruit porridge, pastries, jam with icecream, compote, trifles etc.
Have a great summer :)
